I was so impressed with a pair of GRULLA guns belonging to a spanish friend, that I ordered a pair for my son, and one for me. I have always shot with a pair of Purdeys, but both pairs of GRULLA have exceeded my expectations in the quality of workmanship and reliability. The balance is excellent, the guns can take heavy cartridges needed for long-range wildfowl and pheasants, without complaint, and they cost a fraction of "best" English guns.
Moreover, they are custom built to personal specifications and delivered within a few months rather than years.
I have put these guns to good use, and recommend them highly, particularly for anyone , like me, who is worried about firing heavy ammunition through good English guns.
